Spring Time & An Events Calendar

I’m a few days late on this post, but it’s officially Spring here in Vermont! The long, cold, dark nights of winter are largely behind us as we all shift our attention to brighter days and …. mud season! But after that brief period of time where you need to wash your car every other day, Vermonters feel a sense of rejuvination and anticipation for warmer weather and blossoming flowers as long days on the lake await them. There’s something to be said for the appreciation of seasons when you live in Vermont. Unlike Florida, or other southern states where you largely get to experience a beautiful warm day on the regular, Vermonters earn those days after working their way through the winter elements of snow, sleet and ice. Spring is a time of renewal, a time of excitement and new adventure.

One of the things that make Vermont such a special place to live in are all the events that begin popping up as the weather warms up. Whether it’s farmers markets, outdoor concerts, festivals on the waterfront and so much more, Vermont offers something for everyone. In fact, there can be so much going on that it’s hard to know exactly what activity to do. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been totally oblivious to an event that happened in town until after the fact. A great resource that you should be using for all things events around Burlington, VT is through Hello Burlington. Hello Burlington acts as a site for both locals and visitors that promotes the region for all of its options for activities, leisure, restaurants, music and so much more.
